The Embracing the Future campaign represents a significant opportunity to enhance St. Paul's excellence today, and secure its leadership tomorrow.
But to do so, we must raise $8 million to purchase urgently needed diagnostic and treatment tools, in a range of strategic disciplines, to enhance St. Paul's urology services.
The campaign will focus on three priority areas: a Urology Centre of Health, which will offer advanced detection and treatment of urological diseases; advanced state of the art equipment such as a Nuclear Medicine gamma camera, which will allow for earlier detection in such diseases as prostate cancer, less invasive treatment, and support Nephrology (Kidney) services; and a third MRI for Saskatoon at St. Paul's Hospital.
Embracing the Future is an opportunity to invest in better health for our people and in the future of health care excellence, not just in Saskatoon, but throughout Saskatchewan.
On March 19th, 2007 we announced the campaign and philanthropists Les and Irene Dubé lead the way with a $1 million dollar donation. It is through the thoughtfulness of our donors that we are able to move forward confidently towards our goal.
Thank you for showing an interest in our cause. I encourage you to peruse these web pages and learn more about the campaign and make your donation with the confidence in knowing that your investment will help improve the lives of thousands of people in our community.
Sincerely,

Alain Gaucher
