St. Paul’s Hospital faces a challenging future. While we remain committed to serving those most in need, the number of people coming through our doors is rising. At the same time, resources are becoming scarce, and we are forced to do more with less.

Our current annual campaign is raising funds for the expansion of renal services and will provide funding for programs such as spiritual care and mission services. A new community dialysis centre, renovations to facilities and upgrades to equipment are needed to meet the increasing demand for services at St. Paul’s. Funds raised will provide the best care and treatment options for all patients, with special attention given to the spiritual dimension of care.

We recognize the needs of people are changing and it is the duty of St. Paul’s to respond to unmet needs of the communities we serve. In the next ten years the number of middle aged and older patients will rise, as will the number of Aboriginal patients. These people will need specialist physicians and care workers focused on their unique needs.
