One hundred years ago, two Grey Nuns on a fundraising mission brought hope and healing to the citizens of Saskatoon with a single knock on the door of St. Paul's Catholic Parish rectory.

Since that fateful day, St. Paul's Hospital has played an integral role in the growth and innovative development of health care delivery in Saskatchewan and North America. This year, we celebrate the vision and the collective effort of hundreds of caring individuals that made St. Paul's Hospital what it is today.

We would like to take this opportunity to express our sincerest appreciation to all those who have been a part of creating the rich and vast history of compassionate caring that St. Paul's Hospital is known for, keeping the spirit of St. Paul's alive and bright over the last century. Staff, physicians, volunteers, patients, families, alumni, donors and members of the community—all have played a part in creating the essence of St. Paul's.

Looking ahead, we are called upon to carry forward the vision of St. Marguerite d'Youville and the Grey Nuns into the next century. We will do this by continuing to care for all with compassion and respect, meeting the emerging needs of the communities we serve with vigor and a passion to serve. St. Paul's will continue to be a progressive, acute care teaching hospital, working in partnership with the Saskatoon Health Region in a governance and management relationship in the delivery of services and programs now and into the future.

As we celebrate our successes with pride and anticipate our future with excitement, we remember the words of our founders, the Grey Nuns, "Charity is love and love conquers all."

Mission Statement
St. Paul's Hospital is an acute care teaching facility offering a comprehensive range of services to residents of Saskatoon and Northern Saskatchewan. Inspired by the example of St. Marguerite d'Youville, we continue the tradition of Catholic health care by sharing in a call to reveal the goodness and love of the Creater God for all people. Together with the Grey Nuns, we work to build a world where hope and compassion prevail.
